THE SEVEN DANGEROUS

DON'T ACT THE 7 ACTIONS BELOW AFTER YOU HAVE A MEAL

Don't smoke- Experiment from experts proves that smoking a cigarette after meal is
comparable to smoking 10 cigarettes (chances of cancer is higher).

Don't eat fruits immediately - Immediately eating fruits after meals will cause
stomach to be bloated with air. Therefore take fruit 1-2 hr after meal or 1hr before meal.

Don't drink tea - Because tea leaves contain a high content of acid. This substance
will cause the Protein content in the food we consume to be hardened thus difficult to digest.

Don't loosen your belt - Loosening the belt after a meal will easily cause the intestine
to be twisted & blocked.

Don't bathe - Bathing will cause the increase of blood flow to the hands, legs & body
thus the amount of blood around the stomach will therefore decrease. This will weaken
the digestive system in our stomach.

Don't walk about - People always say that after a meal walk a hundred steps and you
will live till 99. In actual fact this is not true. Walking will cause the digestive system
to be unable to absorb the nutrition from the food we intake.

Don't sleep immediately - The food we intake will not be able to digest properly.
Thus will lead to gastric & infection in our intestine.

Eve and vision : Cataract

CATARACT

A cataract is a clouding of the lens in your eye. It affects your vision. Cataracts are very common in older people. By age 80, more than half of all people in the United States either have a cataract or have had cataract surgery.

Common symptoms are

  • Blurry vision
  • Colors that seem faded
  • Glare
  • Not being able to see well at night
  • Double vision
  • Frequent prescription changes in your eye wear

Cataracts usually develop slowly. New glasses, brighter lighting, anti-glare sunglasses or magnifying lenses can help at first. Surgery is also an option. It involves removing the cloudy lens and replacing it with an artificial lens. Wearing sunglasses and a hat with a brim to block ultraviolet sunlight may help to delay cataracts.

Healthy eating means eating a variety of foods so that your child gets the nutrients (such as protein, carbohydrate, fat, vitamins, and minerals) he or she needs for normal growth. Your child can eat all types of food, as long as his or her weekly intake is balanced and varied.

A few helpful tips for Healthy Eating:

  • Make healthy foods available at home.
  • Try to have at least two fruits or vegetables with every meal.
  • Canned and frozen vegetables are often less expensive and have a long shelf-life.
  • For children over age two, choose 1% or fat free milk rather than whole or 2% milk.
  • Help your kids have healthy attitudes about food.
  • Don't force your kids to clean their plates. Let them decide when they're full.
  • Snacks for Healthy Smiles and Healthy Bodies
  • Water is the most necessary nutrient of them all - so necessary that people can't survive for more than a few days without it. More than half of the weight of your body is water - if you weigh 60 pounds, fewer than 25 of those pounds are minerals and other solid stuff. The remaining pounds are water. Learn about the importance of drinking water.

Breast Cancer info

Is braset saving treatment right for you?

If you have onllump plus radiation can work
as well as takiy one tumor in the breast,
removing the ng the whole breast. This is
true if the tumor:
1. is smaller than about four centimeters
(about one and a half inches) and
2. can be removed with a clear rim of
normal tissue around it.

Expert Quote:
Lots of women are afraid they will
“make the wrong choice” (for example:
lumpectomy and radiation versus
mastectomy; one chemotherapy regimen
versus another). I tell them, “There are no
wrong choices, only choices that are right
for you.” Each person is different, and you
will make choices in your treatment that are
NOT different in outcome, but make a
huge difference for how you feel about
yourself and the process.
– Lisa Weissmann, breast cancer doctor

Take Your Time
Luckily, there are many treatments that
work well against breast cancer. But trying
to choose the best ones can be very hard
and confusing. It takes a lot of time and
careful thought to sort through all this
complicated information.
Don’t feel pressured to decide right away —
most people can’t make fast decisions about
such an important subject. You can usually
take a few weeks to get the information
you need to make the best decisions for
you. Getting another doctor’s opinion
can also be very helpful.

What is Scleroderma?

Scleroderma is a rare, chronic autoimmune disease which afflicts an estimated 150,000(1) to 500,000(2) Americans, primarily females who are 30 to 50 years old at onset. The overall occurrence is 30 people per 100,000 and the ratio of women to men is about four to one.The systemic forms of scleroderma cause fibrosis (scar tissue) to be formed in the skin and/or internal organs. The fibrosis eventually causes the involved skin or organs to harden, which is why scleroderma is popularly known as the "disease that turns people into stone." The cause of scleroderma is unknown. Some cases of scleroderma have been linked to chemical exposures. Genetics, fetal cells, and viruses might also be factors in the development of scleroderma. Scleroderma is not classified as contagious , which means that you cannot get scleroderma by shaking hands, hugging, kissing, sexual contact, contact with blood or bodily fluids, sharing eating utensils, or by airborne contact from coughing or sneezing. And it is not cancerous in any way.
